This week on Can I just Say, we discuss the woman and the icon that is Cate Blanchett… er, Elizabeth I. We play a Volta, wrinkle our noses at Dukes, and agree that Sir Francis Walsingham is the best.

This week on Can I Just Say, Part 1 of our 4 part Outlander Series. Daphne and Lauren have the first of a series of conversations about Outlander’s Third Season, covering episodes 1 through 3. We discuss Lord John Grey! And also bed configurations, cooking configurations, closed-eyed sex, and the (generally unsuccessful) search for home in this part of the story. But its ok because Joe Abernathy and Jenny are both generous with the drinks.

This week on Can I Just Say, our enthusiasm for this story and ships generally shows, in real time thematic revelations, mispronunciations, and a favorite thing list that grew and grew.
